We prefer files created in InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop. We will accept files from Word and PowerPoint, however the artwork on these files often needs to be recreated to correctly print. Properly formatted PDF files exported (or saved) from most applications must use quality settings for high quality desktop or prepress printing.
Please spell check your documents before submitting them. Should any spelling or grammar errors exist on the submitted files they will be on the final printed materials. It is important to not bypass checking and double checking for spelling and grammar errors. We assume no responsibility for any spelling or grammar errors that exist on the final printed piece.
72 dpi images at 100%, such as those appearing on or copied from websites, are not acceptable because they will appear severely pixilated on your final printed document. Photos taken with digital cameras may be 72 dpi, but as long as they are at least 4 times larger than the final printed size they can still be perfectly acceptable when reduced.
When working with acquired or existing images in Photoshop, make sure they are at least 300 dpi resolution at 100% of the final printed size. When purchasing photos from internet photo banks, select a size and resolution equal to or greater than the size needed in your document.
